"Nicolette and I were peers for over two years on an innovation/product development program at Allstate, which led to the 2019 acquisition of InfoArmor and establishment of the Allstate Identity Protection business. During that period, I led technology; Nicolette ran nearly everything related to the consumer, which initially started with consumer research, brand permission testing, and persona definition. And as the program went on, she took on the additional responsibility for design and product management, in which she led outside engagements with two well-known design consultancies and internally managed a team of product managers and creatives. Much of her work is now visible in Allstate Identity Protection's "Digital Footprint" offering.
In my 20+ years of product development across multiple industries, I have not seen Nicolette's equal when it comes to delving into consumer needs and designing the experiences and messaging around a solution; she is truly masterful. And the concept we were addressing was not an easy one to tackle. The domain was a new one for the enterprise, and the project was full of "firsts". Nicolette did an excellent job of leading through the ambiguity and blazed a trail that is still largely being followed today. In addition to these skills, she is also an artful storyteller and adept at senior leadership communication.
